@KicsiSlash: so basically you're saying that the bass in a choir cannot be done as a solo, I mean that's what you're implying, only because your ears are only hearing voices higher than tenor doesn't mean anything, how about drums as a solo instrument, or bagpipe, or for that matter voice...

KicsiSlash, there are many bass players out there that play the bass like a solo instrument. victor wooten, marcus miller,dominique dipiazza, michael manring, jess schmidt. so when you say that this can't happen you are actually "false". i believe it has been done and will continue to be done. get the facts straight before you put up an idiotic statement.
