I already have $100 Nixon Nomadic headphones, not sure if you are familiar with them or if you have them, but if you do, do you know how they compare?

@FutureInventions Unfortunately, I've never had the pleasure of trying out any headphones from the Nixon brand. I do really want the pair they're selling over at Third Man Records though.

well ive had these for about 5 months now and sound only comes out of the left side

I disagree in that I think these sound much better than the beats in my opinion. I tried both on at the apple store and walked out with these instead. The beats have a bloated bass response that overpowers all other spectrums. Again if you love hip-hop only or love bass at the cost of the mids and highs, then get the beats. The beats sound muddy compared to the aviators.
