This is my female Suri from Mike Weitzman. Descended from the grand sire produced in 1989 by Gary Sipperley formerly of San Diego Reptile Breeders. Sipperley line is known for monster peaked animals similar to the FloridaRedtails (another favorite line of mine).

The grand sire was bred to an import Suri female Mike acquired as a baby from Jordan Russell of the "CaliforniaBreedersUnion" in 2000. He raised the pair up and bred them together making 50% Sipperley x WC F1s.

This made the original BasicallyBoas x Sipperley F1's that were extremely peaked and colorful with smaller tails.

The F1's were bred back together and on September 27, 2009 the new line was refined/born and this female is the product of that F1 breeding making her an F2 and/or double dose as morphers refer to them as. As always it's always about redtail boa morphs and locality Surinames all the time on my channel!

  • That music kills me! Awesome!

  • I need offspring from those snakes to go with my surinames!!!!

  • @sniperbrook Cont. In the BCC world we can only rely on the integrity of the breeders. Only God can truly attest to the purity of the breed and all we can do is label the animal what they r sold to us as by the producer and not what we think they look like. I've seen a ton or Suris with the Guyana look and Guyanas with the suri look but again we can only call them what they were sold to us as. A term used nowadays to stop the confusion is the term BCC Shield boas which encompasses all the BCCs.

  • @sniperbrook Thanks. Without having picked up my animal myself in Suriname I have no way of really knowing. Mike Weitzman & Jordan Russell are staples in the industry. Gary Sipperly also had many accolades as a purist breeder of BCC. Mike Eckert who's very well known in the US for great Suris purchased a pair of F1's from Mike.
