We set out to remind of the great influence we as Jamaicans have had on others. Hopefully the pride we have for the past achievements will translate into our sense of rightousness to be brothers and sisters to our neighbours and re-orient our minds to work as one moving positively into a brighter tomorrow.

  • He is from ja? Of all his interview--I have never heard him mention ja ONCE.

  • @pearpeas Like he said in the interview his parents were Jamaicans and he was born in Brooklyn but spent his formative years in St Ann Jamaica. He gives thanks for the positive influences growing up in Jamaica then had on his life... like so many other great people in the world.

  • When was this produced? Do you know if the DVD/video is for sale?

  • Hi Zenadina, it was edited from a compilation of interviews done by my company for our Island Stylee show over the years. The edit was done in February of this year just to circulate and assist in promoting well being amongst our people. It is not available on DVD but feel free to share the link.

    All the best.

  • JAMAICA!!......The beat of my heart!!

  • I'm an American who is grateful that my Jamaican mother sent me to Jamaica almost every summer when I was a child to spend time with family and know my roots!!

Yeah. Apparently you missed the entire interview....even at the very end he referred to "Abukkah" that tiny district in deep rural south St. Ann where he grew up. Harry always speak highly and fondly of Abukkah, St. Ann, Jamaica...

  • lukkee2006 amazing video. Im actually still living in Jamaica and im so proud to be born here. We might not be a wealthy country, but we are certainly blessed with arguably the most beautiful country on earth. Such a small country with so many talented people that have made their mark on the world.

  • Just beautiful, "This is the land of my birth", love jamaica. I miss you, its been too long.
