This a great song love the oldies I am stuck in 60s and 70s grew up on Miami Beach FL hearing these songs on my transister radio after school fishing and hearing all the best they dont make songs like this any more BG

Great music, yes...but good old days? Nixon in the White House? The Manson Family looking for victims? My Lai happened the year before...in '68 Bobby Kennedy and Dr. King were both assassinated...the Zodiac was on the prowl...Altamont...the country was in the midst of a terrible division...Let's agree that the soundtrack was great, but maybe the movie was a little lacking...

You guys with these posts must be about my age (60) and share the same great memories I have. Songs like this are just as good 40 years later as they were in the late 1960s. Those really were "the good old days." I'm not sure I'm up to going back to them now, but, with songs like this, I don't have to. All I have to do is listen, and I'm there. Those days were a lot of fun.
