  • I never thought someone could make me eager to read about trains for an hour on wikipedia.

  • Now I can't decide who's more awesome, Feynman or the guy who invented those ingenious train wheels.

  • Having a high IQ doesn't necessarily mean that you know stuff. You can have a very high IQ without knowing anything about physics at all, or be highly knowledgable about physics and have a low IQ.

  • The whole metal bends, its even a calcuation, a jet uses it to know how much power is applied. So, if the train has say 50,000 horses applied, well its actually torque, then the shaft rotated a foot. Anyway, don't know why boats aren't snakes either.

  • oh so thats why sheldon loves trains !!!

  • fancy bumping into u here at the same time culwin. no surprise aye? I learned this at a huge rail/train museum once, and never managed to forget, but its one of thoe things one never really thinks about. toot.

  • I learned this when I was getting my engineering degree.

Now I get to drive the train and make the horn toot.

  • I've heard quotes from this guy but never seen him in person. He is very mercurial.

  • he likes trains!!! and he will not blend!!!
