Maybe, just MAYBE if we didn't have the secret developed technology out there the rest of the world would bum rush us! A bunch of idiots.
The only reason why you want to see what's there is because YOU CANT! It's human nature since you were a baby and your parents said no.
I can think of a few treasonous cases where the most secret of our defenses was given to the Chinese and Russians just because they though we should all share to be equal powers. Area 51 was created because of that shit.

Make sure you have multiple cameras transmitting live feeds, have media present. They gonna blow a shit load of people away on live tv?
