Take a tour of Crazy Horse Memorial in United States -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions series by GeoBeats.

Hi, I'm Naomi and I'm very excited to show you the world's greatest attractions.

Have you ever wondered how some the great monuments of the world looked under construction?

You'll get the chance if you visit the Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota.

The finished sculpture will be the famous warrior mounted on a horse pointing ahead.

The memorial was started in the mid 1900s and is an ongoing, privately funded effort.

So far, the rough outline of the statue and Crazy Horse's face have been completed.

Once the memorial is finished, it will be the largest sculpture in the entire world.

Thank you for watching our travel video series. See you next time.

  • desecration of a holy mountain. this is NOT a attraction--its a horror. nobody asked the Indian people about it.

  • Hope they don't find it at the bottom. My husband and I were there back in the 70's or 80's and there was nothing on the mountain at that time. We are going back there in June of this year and really looking forward to it. Now we will see the face and the start of the horse. I am very excited.

  • @tryithere Im from new hampshire, and i miss it:( an im only 14

  • Hope it doesn't end up like "The Man In The Mountain" in New Hampshire where they find it at the bottom one day.
