Is The MacBook Air A NetBook ?

*HELLO* - Yes I've decided to bring back one of the most controversial topics in the Mac/PC YouTube community Is the MacBook Air just a NetBook. This video is a little different, as I am taking some of the arguments from the Windows side, these are the arguments I get in PMs and comments.

netbooks dont have dvd/cd drives, a mac air doesnt have a dvd/cd drive and theirs not low normal laptops that doesnt have dvd cd drives so a mac book air is a netbook case closed

lol case not closed, the Del Adamo does not have a optical drive, the Lenovo has the same specs but has a optical drive, the voodoo envy has same specs but no optical drive.lol. there way way too high specked to be netbook, have bigger screens and do not have atom processors...they are light, laptops with lower specs, but not as low as netbooks. so im afraid the case is not closed in terms of being a netbook, but the case is closed on it being a weaker standard laptop.

ya after i saw this vid i saw the dell adamo i was like well i guess im wrong haha idk to me i think its a netbook because of the lack of a dvd drive lol and any other computer with out a dvd drive is a netbook if they dont clam it lol

The Dell Adamo has similar specs to the MacBook Air AND it costs $2000. Neither of these are netbooks, they are ultra-mobile laptops.

I'm a Windows user purely because it's what I've been bought up on and because it's affordable. However, I tik Macs are better and have really wanted one for ages so hopefully I can get a Mac Mini or MacBook Air soon. They are expensive, however I believe you get what you pay fir and that they'e hier quality and last longer etc

i think that macbook air (2010) is not a netbook.... bcz it's just a full computer

it just doesn't have a cd drive..... i mean watch the macbook air reviews it'S so powerfull and it's almost comperative to the macbook pro.

there are 4 things that a regular netbook has that Macbook Air do not:

-It's smaller than the Air [ 10

-Have three usb's

-More BATTERY life [ 8 to10hrs ]

-And it's...cheaper.
