The following video is a small showcase of one of the cars to recently finish its tune at Fluid MotorUnion headquarters in Plainfield, IL. This car is owned by a long-time friend of the company, John L. His C32 AMG came to us with a need for more power, as it's his weekend fun car, so we went about modifying his motor in a way that would bring out some good power numbers. His modifications are as follows:

FMU Custom Headers
FMU Custom Full Exhaust
FMU Custom Supercharger Rear Housing
FMU Custom Phenolic Spacer
FMU-Separated Cooling Systems
FMU Custom Heat Exchanger
FMU Painted Stock AMG Wheels
FMU Custom Catch Can + Vacuum Venturi System
FMU Custom Dyno Tune
S600 Throttle Body
Supercharger Pullies
Johnson Pump
WOT Box
Sprint Booster

The exhaust note on this car is extremely bassy and very aggressive in person. It's a bit harder to capture on the video, as the lower registers of the exhaust note tend to peak the microphone when it's placed anywhere near the exhaust tips. We'll try to get some outdoor fly-by videos to see if we can capture that sound a bit more accurately.

Dyno graphs and final power numbers are on the way! John should be very happy with the results.

  • @DrewZ926 It's leaving today with a bit over 380 wheel.

  • I'm not gonna lie, it kinda sounds like a supercharged R35 in this video.

  • @mynameisthepass We have to give you credit for managing to comment only two minutes after we uploaded the video.

And yes, it's definitely one of the more interesting sounding motors from Mercedes. Thankfully, it may sound like the R35 motor, but it won't be the cost of a small house to replace it.

  • @FluidMotorUnion Haha, well it is 2:15AM and I keep refreshing my youtube to watch any vids posted on other time-zones.

And true, I'd probably take this C32 rather than the R35 as well.
