This is our new gadget: a LivingColors lamp, by Philips.
The wireless controller works with the famous iPod touchpad technic.
The big white dot in the middle of the light is caused by my camera. And the LivingColors lamp is located too near the wall.
Enjoy it, it's fantastic!

I just found out how to switch to demo mode! You just need to hold the On button for a few seconds. Thanks alot :) Without your comment I wouldn't have found out that there is such a mode

It depends on how large the room is and how much light you need. It's perfect as a background light when you sit at a computer monitor or in front of the TV. Really enhances the movie experience... eerie green light for a horror movie, orange light for a romantic comedy, cold blue for a scifi flick and so on. I wouldn't use it as a reading lamp though, unless you sit very close. It's not that bright

I get a relatively fast color cycling each time I disconnect and reconnect the power plug. Is that what you meant with demo mode?

La télécommande tombe en panne tout d'un coup. Apparemment un problème de qualité fréquent sur ce produit. Fernbedienung geht ohne Vorwarnung plötzlich kaputt. Qualitätsproblem bei diesem Produkt.

@xandebc This version isn't. Philips added several new lights in the LivingColors series, check them out.
