That little bastard was totally going for the 'Todd Bertuzzi'....Good on that guy for teaching him a lesson. The little shit has pads on, so what if he got knocked to the ice? It's not like it hurt him, and it wasn't a punch. It was a light shove that looked harder than it was because that little douche was skating in hard to deliver a cheap shot. The kid's probably fallen on his ass just as hard while playing. The dad of that little maggot is the real 'idiot hockey dad'. Teach your son respect.

@Haligiggai If you read what I wrote, you'd see that my opinion is that he didn't HIT the kid. He gave him a little shove and it looked worse than it was because the kid was skating in so fast for his 'Todd Bertuzzi' cheap shot. Damn right I support what the adult did. He wasn't acting like a child, he was protecting his player, and too bad if the little prick fell on his ass. He's GOT PADS ON! The adult also contacted his shoulder, not his head. I hate child abuse, but this is far from it.

@NINJASE7EN You know what.. I watched this in slow motion and in my opinion it is clearly a hit to head and in my opinion he had plenty of time to just go in between the kids. That dad is an Idiot in my opinion. Did you see the reaction of the opponent teams coaches etc? I don´t think that they would have reacted like that if it was only a small shove. And it doesn´t matter if the player has pads or not.. Adults should be role models and that was far from it.

@DenyingBow868 In this case, I'd wait until after the game to speak to the coach, or coaches about it. It shouldn't happen in the first place, so that would be my first concern and address it that way. If he acts like an idiot and gets angry with me, then I'd be inclined to punch him in the mouth, not necessarily saying I would. I would simply want to. An adult shouldn't put their hands on a child aggressively like that for sure, unless it was for good reason. In this case, I thought it was ok.
