I totally agree with David Field in this interview. He says the movie reminded him of a lilting Irish song. And thats how I feel everytime I watch this movie. Its soothing and sweeps you into it without letting you down for even a second. I love this movie! My favorite Aussie film, and one of my favorite fims of all time.

I bought the Oyster Farmer DVD and it was a great movie. Anna Reeves did a great job writing and directing the movie. The cast was also fantastic! I'd highly recommend seeing this movie, if you can. Bring to the United States, more movies like the Oyster Farmer.

in something else i was watchin, his name had been spelled O'Lachlan (from the scottish or Irish name Lachlan) this bein a popular Australian name for boys, maybe he changed it slightly, some actors do. Whatever his name he's still extremely sexy, I trully am in love .

Loved this movie from the moment I saw it! It was a perfect part for Alex to 'get his feet wet'....love hearing him talk with his native accent. He's such a sexy man & a great actor!
