This version of the Lord's prayer was recorded and released in 1974. This is another one of those songs I remembered from childhood and everyone else thought I was nuts! Antway, here it is with some info about the singer.
Funny, I remember this song being released in the spring of 1975, not 1974! Maybe it was recorded in 74 but the release is different than the copyright year. I remember this so well in the 70's. Now one would be brought up on charges for singing a nice song! Too bad, really!
@2ubtrue I agree! This is one of the first albums I had as a child in the 70's.I had the album until a couple years ago and am so disappointed that I have not yet located it again!
I also remember hearing this song in spring 1974 while sitting in the car in the rain... and I don't recall ever hearing it again, but the tune remained with me, and I just discovered that it was a nun who sang it.
I remember singing this song in the backseat of the car in the spring of 1974, In my 10yr old sensibility I heard and sang "Hama sama seesaw say" when the singer was actually saying "hallowed be thy name" oh the things you think you hear as a child, it's still a lovely song.
