@SGTmoomoo I never quite understand why someone feels the need to toss out expletives when they don't know a word or concept. Would your question not have been understood if you had asked "What exactly is a meodime magnet?" (In case nobody has answered you yet, the word you are looking for is 'Neodymium', a rare-earth metal used in magnets and as a lasing medium in some lasers.)
A little free advice: There is no easier way to seem more mature than by dropping curse words from your vocabulary.

@ibiemac You just need a little tuning. maybe the wire is contacting the magnet to hard or something. You need to get the wire to just barely touch the magnet.
