I Got Boob Cancer ( a ditty)

I've been The Bearer of Bad News for about 10 days now, and it's the worst job I've had by far (& I was a 1-800-FLOWERS gift box outside The Today Show at 5a in December!). But one of the first things that popped into my head when the Bad News was delivered to me was: How am I gonna tell My People (that's you)?

So, I figured I'd tell you the best way I knew how: by writing an original song on my ukulele. Obviously.

Now, keep in mind that this is the first full-length song I've ever written by myself, and it's about, oh, Bad News. But I mean everything that's in it, and hopefully it won't totally bring the room down.

10 year survivor here - and that sense of humor is going to take you a long way in your fight! I had it at 41, my sister at 35 with 3 kids under 4, and we're both still here to tell our wild tales. Hope all is going well for you - I am sure you have an amazing support system - oh yeah - betwen you and me, the whole hooters-can-be-bigger thing is overrated...meh...whatever....­just enjoy your life, and don't sweat the little stuff! I think that sence of humer is stupid my friend lost hyer battle to breast cancer in febuary last year and it is hard to see someone so close slip away from u but if thats how u deel with your news so let it be I hope my friend Lee is looking over u and getting u better from your battle of breast cancer take care :)
