  • Asan engineer i say this is the way to go just like machine head, the performance is what matters most

  • waht happend to the sound? enjoy this rare footage ass.

  • On the DVD version of this there are extra interviews and in one Davey Johnstone said the chateau was haunted. He didn't go into great detail but said that there were things happening constantly and people actually being touched when there was nobody around them. Couldn't have been too upsetting since they recorded there more than once.

  • WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SOUND?

  • Supposedly, there were rumors that the chateau was haunted. When Bowie recorded there in 76, the entire group of musicians, etc. felt something wasn't right. I don't believe that stuff, but interesting nonetheless..

  • hence "Jamaica Jerk-off"?

  • You should see the early parts. They originally went to record the album in Jamaica and it was a disaster.

  • what Jamaica thing?

  • AWESOME!

  • huh
