40 weeks

This time is nigh! I am going to push a human out of my body, this is going to be the next important thing I do and it is unlikely that anything will ever top that again. I am looking forward to labor, looking forward to having a son. Can't wrap my head around it, can't imagine how I got to be so lucky. I see all these babies, and I am so grateful, that soon, I will have one of my own...and in just two years I will have my very own 2yr old boy...possibly the best thing in the world, to laugh at/with, to listen to his crazy ideas and reflections and questions and have an excuse to spend time at the playground. But first, to help a little human find his arms and legs and watch him start to recognise me as the most important person in his life, and he mine. And do the most important job I have to do here on this earth.
