@tyforquer I met John Mackey last week when he came to clinic our band (my ensemble is performing Aurora Awakes while another ensemble is performing Strange Humors arranged for Wind Ensemble. A percussion ensemble is also performing Damn and Mass). We got to have a Q&A session and one of the questions asked was if he enjoys arranging his pieces for other types of ensembles. He said that he generally does not but if there is enough demand he will do it.
