José Tomás sale por la puerta grande en su primera corrida de Fallas 2009

Regresó el genio en la novena de Fallas y siguiendo la tradición surcó la primera puerta grande de su temporada. José Tomás, sin medallas, con brindis a Camino y con dos triunfos, salió a hombros en otra de sus inmesnsas tardes.


Fue una tarde de gloria. José Tomás abrió su temporada con otra faena para la historia. Fue en Valencia, y el diestro de Galapagar abrió la puerta Grande por vez primera en 2009.

@psychkoala True, we are not equal. And as the superior and civilized race, we should realize that imposing cruelty on animals for purely entertainment purposes is nuts. The only killing that makes sense is for food or self defense. But like you say, its dangerous. Though it's hardly a fair fight - If it were fair, as many humans would be dieing as bulls, right? Any one that gets into a ring with a bull should expect to be maimed or killed. Which countries don't allow the killing beside Oman?

The bull is sometimes spared- the crowd may decide so if they feeel the bull is particularly worthy.

Many professional bullfighters and amateurs are killed by bulls.

There are some countries where bullfighting does not allow the killing of the bull.

The Bull is not there by choice, so needs defending.

The bull fighter is there by choice, so doesn't need defending,

he did not HAVE TO fight, did he?

Humans have fucked the planet up, animals have not, thus animals are the more noble species. Calling someone an animal shows you don't understand this fact of life, and don't have compassion for living things.

It's people like you that the world needs less of if it is to survive.
