Solo Canoe Trip 2009 (2 of 3)

This is part 2 of a 3 part video taken on a solo trip I did with my dog Maddy (aka The Goose) to the Algonquin region in Ontario Canada. We did a there-and-back starting at Wendigo Lake and moving South to Clam Shell Lake.
The weather was better than I could have hoped for with lakes of glass for almost the whole trip.
It was a nice relaxing trip and a great way to end the season.

@avhousebitch Actually it's a North Face Road Runner 3. Great tent but it'll will probably be replaced next season since it's showing it's age now. I'm looking into the MEC line, I may end up with Apollo. We'll see.

I'm living in Netherlands but born and raised in Ontario. Been here for a year now and it's video's like this that make me want to come back home. There's no nature like this in Netherlands and it's funny to hear how much the dutch love Canadian Nature. All in all, thank you for uploading this. I'm sure i'm not the only one who got inspired by this.

Few questions for this one. How do you like the Kat Hiker do you find it gives a funky taste? and Is that the 15" or the 18" Sawvivor?

Sorry, I forgot to ad cheese sticks in with the pepperoni question. How long before you believe they are not to be trusted once removed from fridge and brought into backwoods? Cheers.

Curious. How long do you suppose the pepperoni sticks will keep in the food saver sealed plastic once out of refrigeration? At least a few days I'd guess. Have to ever taken them on longer hauls and ate them on day seven or eight?
