This problem cause baterry, Just replace the baterry and will be done

same problem here..even if i flash it 3x using odin, it never work.. i shut it down and it will never turn on.. i just use the clockworkmod to turn it on.. planing to change the housing of my phone into white..im still searching for the best price on the web..
i still love my s2 coz i droped it 5x and still works fine.. hahahah..lol..

Guys the battery is not the problem is the software running in your phones this is an easy fix i have the same phone and i installed a custom rom and walla never had a problem

Mine do the same until i took the baterry out !
It was fine in the last 5 months but recently start to do silly things.
Another problem: sometimes goes off-on-off-on.. over and over .
2 months ago i would say is a great phone, but now i`ve changed my mind.

Mine done exactly the same! It's fine...the all of a sudden I can't turn it off. Have all Samsung Galaxy S2's got 2 years warenty because I've had mine for around 4 months!

@FabioPinti yes, the micro usb port had some gunk/corrosion in it.. cleaned it out and now works fine, I've got no idea how it got there however 1 person I spoke to had the problem after using their phone as a music player on the bathroom counter whilst they were in the shower (humidity + pocket lint = gunk). have a look at the port and see if it looks clean.. hope this helps
