  • Benny has one wicked Host at 1:14

  • These chants are blessed

  • Along with what I already said. A thing or two to think about. We do not shake hands or hug or play rock and roll. Our attention is entirely on what is going on at the altar. we kneel during the Sanctus and we sing it. It's more beautiful. And of course we have 3 or 4 masses, depending on how many are needed on sunday. Of course our Latin mass Community here in podunk Ks. has two or three priests at one time. And to the last man we accept the real presence and kneel before the consecrated host.

  • I always love cruising these youtube posts the most interesting discussions come up. Of course those of us who are polite or are attached for some reason to the vernacular or Novus Ordo mass will claim it to be as beatiful and dignified as the Latin Tridentine. I came from 1% Biker to Protestant to Catholic. I cannot say the nicene creed in vernacular but I can sing it in latin and I know what I'm saying. I came directly into Latin rite. Taught catechism by FSSP priests. The Solemn Latin is it.

  • The Ordinary Form and the Extraordinary Form, as they are called now, are equally valid and different expressions of the one Mass that Christ instituted. Any attempt to separate them or make one to be better than the other is not appropriate. I find latin to be beautiful, but can attend an english Mass just as easily. This Sanctus is beautiful and the thing we most need to remember is to participate at Mass with a pure heart and to strive for holiness. Latin or English, the Mass is beautiful.

  • one of my favorite gregorian chants =)
