Sung by a fluffy white kitten (David W Solomons - alto) and a ginger Thomas (Kevin Drury baritone and keyboard) at a n Old time music hall concert in Fallowfield. Attributed incorrectly to Rossini - it is a spoof based partly on one of Rossini's operas.

  • Hi moondial - thanks for the comment. Actually, the way we did it was based on the Hinge and Bracket sketch (but I didn't realise that until later, LOL!). No idea if the video of the original H&B version is available.. does anyone know?

  • I saw Hinge and Bracket perform the Cat Duet on TV around 1978, I've never been able to find it on video, please let me know if you succeed.

  • Does the alto know he looks like Ann Widdecombe?!

  • You didnt realise it was based on Hinge & Bracket? How can you say that? You even use their script. But very funny.

  • Very Hinge & Bracket style! Never seen in doen by blokes before - v. ingenios
