  • Thx for all the positive feedback from everyone. New video coming soon... I now can do 145 unassisted and Very smooth. I am currently working on 160.

  • Getting it in position isn't really part of the exercise. No reason to put your shoulder at risk trying to angle it up yourself. Having said that, I usually put it in position myself, but that's only because no one likes me and will help me.

  • In the end, whatever works for you is good. As I said, I bring it off the floor myself as well. I just don't think having someone help you get it in position lessens the feat. Sort of how if you Bench Press 300 and someone helps you lift it off the supports to get in position, it doesn't negate the press.

  • you's a beast, dawg

  • Towards the end when that barbell was tilting, that could've ended up so badly for him

  • Worst TGU Ive ever seen.

  • That is fuckin insane!! Quality work there mate.

  • You didn't finish it, you are supposed to be able to use your muscles to balance it out until you get back in the laying position with your back flat.

  • I can agree, its moreorless a matter of principle.

  • So you say, I dont think it would make a differnce, but I like to reach behind my head and to a semi tricep exercise, other ways of getting it up seem tricky and honestly if I cant get it up that way I'm not going to be able to to the lift anyway.
