The first boss battle of the game, and damn is it awesome. First you fight the classic dracula (what I mean is the same style of dracula from the original NES game), then a hideous demon incarnation (also a refubishment from the NES game, although the sprites for both Richter and Dracula's two forms, were taken directly from Castlevania Rondo of Blood, which never to released in the States). Just use get the holy water at the left of the screen and hit the triangle button to use Hydrostorm for a quick victory over the count. Although it is not necessary to be strategic in this fight; if your health meter reaches zero Maria Renard will come and save you by giving Richter the power of her Guardians: A red bird, Turtle, Dragon, and Lion (Which are Maria's subweapons in Castlevania: Rondo of Blood). This part in particular caused some confusion for me, because I beat Dracula X and, since you never even play as Maria in the game, I never understood why she summons these creatures to help you. Anyway, if you defeat dracula fast, when you play as Alucard you will have increased stats.

  • I think you have to beat it fast and wichout geting touch and alucard will start with uber stats.

  • Yes, I believe that is true. He will a bit more powerful. I'm not sure if I would say uber, but its a considerable amount.

  • @repentsins He said the same style of Dracula. Dracula uses pretty much the same attacks.

  • also on a side note, Simon Belmont was also featured in Castlevania II Simon's quest because as the story goes, Simon was cursed to live forever to fight dracula, so to break that curse (for some retarded reason lol) he had to get all of dracula's body parts and bring him back to destroy him in order to rid the curse, which is why there is one ending to that game that it's supposed to be a happy ending when it says he "did not survive his fatal wounds" just to clear any confusion up

  • so i wont say all the info in the description is wrong but i will say you are in fact inaccurate with some information, for example, your statement saying rondo of blood has never been and will never be released in the united states, meanwhile, it has been released although only on psp, but either way, it has been released in the US. Also, this end fight is not a recreation of the NES fight at all, the NES was against Simon Belmont and Dracula, this is Richter Belmont (decendant) and Dracula

  • 'What is a man?" *CRASH*
