  • I am a health care worker from back in the day. Immunized against EVERYTHING, our blood handling methods were atrocious. Diagnosed w/ HCV in '93. I also have tattoos, piercings, but all this pales to a memory of my little skinny 4 or 5 year old arm being immunized with a jet gun in '64, '65. That gun went from arm to arm, no needle change. The peak HCV patient load is in the 40-49 year range. That my dears, is where this bastard came from. Not from a 3rd world country: good ol US of A.

  • i love these animations. I know about the stuff but seeing it in animation makes it make even mroe sense.

  • @bboiprfsr: If it is of any interest, we placed a naturopathic approach for hepatitis and liver issues on our channel in the comment section.

  • Living with STD is a hard life to many people. When I found this site STDslove. com (my favorite STD dating site) I was once again hopeful. There are many sexy girls and hot guys who are seeking match living with the same STD here. All of them are friendly and informative.

  • @bradryan89 the virus is not directly citopatic for the liver. Its not the virus itself that promotes the damage, in fact, is our immunologic cells response to the virus that provide the damage, thats the reason why we give immune sistem modulators as treatment. But i believe that the correct affirmation is that Hepatitis c is a risk factor for cirrhosis. In fact if you get HCV you have a risk of 85% of staying with cronic infection, and then 20-50% of these people get cirrhosis in 10-20 years.

  • @bboiprfsr You're right the fact that the virus infect other structures, and not only the liver itself, is the reason why hepatitis C can reapear even after a liver transplant.
