I wish that Capcom or Data East distributed Outzone in the US instead of Romstar since they were ran by violent criminals that threatened Japanese game companies like Taito and Toaplan to fork over all the profits to them if they didn't get their way with Toaplan and Zero Wing was very lucky to not have the Romstar logo. I think they also ruined the US versions of Detana Twinbee and Xexex.

Just played this on MAME ,much like ikari warriors only more playable.I never saw this in the arcades back in the 90 s and its the first time ive heard of Toaplan .I must check out more of their games as their on par with Konami and Capcom if not better,,,,nice find,,

the music is brutal this videogame in my opinion is one of the GREATS and TOAPLAN whit games like zero wing or tatsujin is one of the best companys out zone FOREVEEEEER!!!

a criminally overlooked game in my opinion!
graphics sound and gameplay are awesome!
