Muhammad Ali has been a huge influence on my since my very early teens.... and in my forties I have tried to keep his same feeling about his forties.... that they were nothing.... Life begins at forty if you live right and I live right..... these were his words... in a 1982 interview...

@gianca60 YOUR very right... most of the damage came in sparring for holmes..... My opinion Berbick held back the entire fight.... he didnt want to hurt Ali it was obvious..

@imsoreal09 he is closer to 39... but with the parkinson he was just beginning to feel... he was probably equivalent to a 50 year old ALI in the ring on the night he fought Holmes...

Tupax you are talking rubbish, yes he already had early signs of Parkinsons by then, but to say Vis mind was 50 or 60 is total bull. Even now at 69 years old hardly being able to talk I bet his brain is still 10x more powerful than yours. Just because he moves like an old boy does not mean that his brain is dead ffs!
