  • Much Respect to you for taking the time to PP Test your dog, be willing to share it with others that they might be able to learn something from it, then being honest about what the test revealed to you about your dog.

I refer folks to your TESTING Video often.. & you aren't alone w/ people not understanding the concept. LOL -I posted a PP Testing video awhile back & a ton of folks commented on the dog's lack of control too.. they just don't know any better.

    Again, Props to you!!

  • Thanks for your coments, it's nice to know someone understands. Just cliked on ur name and viewed your video's. Great stuff!

  • I own dutchies and boels. I do ringsport with the dutchies. This dog had a horrible bite only using the end of its nose and a little bit of canines, not getting a good deep bite, played tug of war and kept loosing focus of the sleeve (when released) to eyeball the person, all a bad combo for protection training. I do agree that this dog should not persue high pressure protection work and should stay at home and guard as he was designed. This is the difference of a thinking and reacting breed.

  • Hence why this was a protection TESTING. Boerboel's are making the grade as protection dogs we can only know if our own dogs can by testing them.

  • @SonsOfLiberty65 ha ha i own a pit bull and iam not jelous but the fair comment and proberly true

  • @salemsidelines I had 2 of them in Zimbabwe in a tropical/ semi arid environment and the coped with the heat very well, they need a lot of water and a load of food and a good deal of exercise, but were bred as farm dogs/guard dogs in a very hot country so I think you'll have no problem there, as for the jaw..... they dont come much stronger than this

  • Is this a brachycephalic breed? I'm looking for something that can survive tropical or desert climates with a large jaw.

  • Just wondering what might happen to the guy with the sleeve if you lost the grip on the lead. Would the dog attack the guy or would it listen to you and stop. Nice looking dog

  • nice dog

  • The man with the bitearm has no idea what his doing... The dog just open the mouth and the arm is there... The dog shall go for the arm not the arm for the dogs mouth...

  • @Suestorm69 i am confused with your comment, which breed has no deep bite and looses focus on the sleeve?? And what do you mean with dutchies?? i presume the dutch shepherd, right??

  • dont mess with anyone holding a dog whoms average weight is 150-200lbs

  • I hope he doesnt think every person has that bITE PROTECTION on or your screwed lmaoo
