I'm in effingham county and that in my area is a hard to see buck. I hunt normally in a tree stand overlooking a corn field. you did a pretty good job :)

As an avid Illinois deer hunter for over 16 years, I am happy for anyone who kills a nice buck. I do have an issue with someone posting a video holding the head of a deer that is clearly still alive and suffering. That doesn't look good and gives us outdoors man a bad name. I get excited just like the rest of you and want to get down right away, but next time give him 20 or throw another one in him.

@sprcub It was the best shot I've ever seen with a shotgun. The deer was actually about 120 yards...It was a bomb. Thanks for the comment sprcub. Check out some of our waterfowl footage if you like to duck hunt.

you use solid rifled slug to take the deer or buckshot?
