A tribute to a suitcase with character, that sadly on it's third outing I managed to break the top handle, all to the haunting music of the Hollies. I effected a repair with superglue of the broken plastic bits and plastic to suitcase as well.
I used it back in February 2008, but the handle popped out at Birminham New Street. Originally the old repair held, but I had to get a new case anyhue. I got the handle to pop in, but on a further static load test, the old repair failed and so the remains are down south in Hampshire

sir i know this luggage gonna b with u forever bec u love it so much.. send to the repairman they will fix it.. i have a 5 year old luggage.. which i sent it for repair bec wheel gone crazy.. now its still going strong

haha, i dont know if this is for real or a joke (i hope the later) but eitherway this was genius. dont you let go of that luggage pal, and do not repair it!

It was a good suitcase whch served me well. I actually got it for £5 as it was originally part of a set of luggage, but the rest of it had gone, when I bought it in 2006
Unfortunately I was unable to bring it back to Newcastle and so was left in Hampshire, and my guess is that it has probably gone for disposal. A sad end I know, but I was not in a position to bring it back.
Like I said in the movie, "Sorry Luggage"

The suitcase is stil sitting in my bedroom, and I sometimes drapes clothes over it - ooh what a comedown. It also houses a smaller travel suitcase.
