@mindlessminion321 additionally, you are creating a false dichotomy between explicitly and particularly. on top of this, you accuse me of a "hasty generalization" and then trod christian deism out as a defense. this is nonsense because a hasty generalization draws upon an audience that is too small to represent the whole, which is the absolute inversion of what you are suggesting, given that deists don't even tally a fully percentile globally and christian deism is but a small sub-sect of that.

@mindlessminion321 "particularly" is what is known as a "qualifier" and it serves as the lens through which to view the rest of the speech. it is what is called "context" and is reinforced by the further references in the speech that are restricted to abrahamic religion. further, christian deism is not a definitive offshoot of either deism or christianity, it is completely historically and contemporarily irrelevant to any conversation about the general character of religion. keep stretching.

Perhaps you do not understand the difference between the meanings of the words "explicitly" and "particularly" or perhaps you are hoping that you won't get called out for lying about what you said. You also ignore the fact that Christian deism is a clear example of an Abrahamic religion that rejects the religious books you reference.
