@420goossens Not only believe it, but have seen it and heard it from the mouths of the people themselves, the Afghans and Iraqis. They are so thankful that the Taliban have been driven out the worry about when the troops leave. Its the only peace they haev known in many years. You obviously have not been there or talked in person to any of the parties involved. When you get back from Afghanistan and have talked to them let me know. Then you can talk.

I got bored n read alot of these posts. Man i was there. I was at able main in sept of 08 down in the shitty pesh river valley. All of you who wana give kudos n support the troops, we appreciate it!!! Everyone else who want to rant n rave about ton of civilian casualties, logistics, COP placment, what you would have done diff if you were there, and even taking jabs at each other for fucking grammer mistakes.... i did mounted patrols, so my standard weapon was modified m4, kept the ebr in the truck unless I needed it. Wasn't too bad in weight, but hell of a kick
