Morrissey - Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others (Live Berlin Columbiahalle 2009)

12th June 2009, nearly six months later after Perrecy's great live performance @ Columbiahalle in Berlin: MORRISSEY!

Before the song "Q&A" with Morrissey incl. Tedster's "Bruises Bigger Than Dinner Plates" comment, a veiled reference to "The Headmaster's Ritual".

Filmed absolutely blind from the front row because no view to the camera display possible because of the security guys!

Perrecy sings with a great voice his into German translated coverversions of Morrissey & The Smiths and plays with ukulele instead of guitar. At this concert, Morrissey received live onstage during the songs his Perrecy starter kit from a Bavarian Front Disko (the Perrecy fanclub) member incl. a letter with a 3" cd with 7 Perrecy songs, a signed Perrecy autograph card and two different Perrecy shirts! Mission accomplished!

Much as Morrissey's current band aren't half what the smiths were, I have to admit, they do arpeggiated songs like this a lot better than the smiths did live. Having a rhythm guitarist helps, obviously.

i feel like his band is so much more boring compared to when he was in the smiths. moz's voice is still right on though.
