This is the actual full press conference including many facts conveniently edited out by most posts which seem to continue to attack Miss California who never asked for this attention but has merely continued to live true to her personal values [No copyright infringement intended!] It is also the real Miss California not LisaNova or any other wannabes. The LisaNova clip actually presents itself as if she is Miss California with no disclaimer and a large majority are deliberately mislead to believing her carefully re-written clip slanders and portrays the true Miss California Jean Prejean's character in an attempt to put words there that never existed and to not even allow Miss California a clear response and her freedom of speech yet again...shame on LisaNova and anyone who would be so hateful, spiteful and intolerant while claimed to be the voice of said tolerance all the while.

In my personal opinion, it was not appropriate to ask a question with such a deliberate agenda of Miss California Carrie Prejean, no one else was asked the same question. And as for the two gay judges were not tolerant of other opinions they were bigoted to use that as a reason to take points away. If you are a fair judge, then you do not allow personal bias to affect your decisions. It is the same way in any court of law. We need to be thankful for our freedoms and never forget to stand up for them.

"Never back down and never let anyone take those freedoms away from you." -Miss California Carrie Prejean's grandfather, WWII Veteran and Patriot

"Agree to disagree and show respect" -Miss California Carrie Prejean...which is something many seem to conveniently disregard or never ever learned.

It is great to see a pageant contestant with personality, integrity and spirit.

  • God bless u carrie

  • @danishdaniel20 yes I agree. God bless you Carrie.

  • Now consider what really contributes to a woman's "beauty". Are we trying to encourage those who look pretty but would speak dishonestly (or politically) when having to choose between her gain and her belief? Or do we rather put Carrie down and pick anyone that look less outstanding but would give a less controversial answer? I can see that Carrie is absolutely beautiful and, she is honest, which truly makes her an outstanding beauty. A great test - and she passed!

  • @leerebecca14 I agree absolutely she did.

  • @ngan1411 It depends upon your definition of the "popular" considering she actually answered EXACTLY how her state, the state of California, voted.

  • @CAtholic29 exactly he had not only complete disregard for her as a human being but for the pageant, his only interest was in himself and drawing as much attention to himself as possible.

  • @turtlespeed76 I personally disagree with you that you would state her answering an 'opinion' question in any way was "stupid" as it is an opinion and by he rights of the first amendment, and the Miss Universe pageant rules she answered exactly as she should have...honestly. By the way it is "narrow" to not accept any opinion answer other than your own.

  • @ngan1411 Hilton should never had been allowed to ask that question as a homosexual himself

  • @sweetblackstarx no! its what God approves of that counts for eternity .

  • Well, I am an atheist from Europe and I am pro gay marriage. However, she was asked for her personal opinion and she answered honestly. I understand that many people find her narrow world view frustrating, but she has the right to be "narrow." Freedom of speech includes the right to say stupid stuff, too.
