Impressive performance!
I like this slow version, a bit the way Barenboim plays it.

This is Chopin played sadly and I'm not referring to the emotional impact of this brilliant waltz. This plods and drags and completely lacks any subtly. Its harsh as hell in parts too.

@1123Annonymus You must be a fucking troll.

Congrats. Would you like a slice of cake?

@Anni1smily Vor allem die Gegenbewegungen durch die linke Hand und die oft schöne Basslinie darf man nicht vergessen und muss da Betonung reinkriegen!
-
@Anni1smily Das ist immer der schönste Teil! :) die Musik steht zwischen den Noten !

get a piano!!!! sell your house!!!

@spacejohannes Die Noten sind leicht, aber an Betonungen habe ich sehr lange gefeilt.

@Anni1smily Man muss doch nur die ersten zwei Seiten können um dann 90% des Stückes spielen zu können.Danach folgen viele Wiederholungen. Und dann noch der Schluss natürlich. ;)
I love this version. the author clearly indicates slow in the first part of the work and then picking up speed going, I've heard other versions that starts very fast and thus can not appreciate the work that is very beautiful.

apart from the excessively slow tempo, the main problem with this performance is that since you emphasize the third rather than the first beat, your waltz becomes a mazurka. now you have to ask yourself: if Chopin had wanted to write a mazurka, wouldn't he have done so?
