I sat down with comedian Danny Cho at Cafe Mak in Koreatown, Los Angeles for an exclusive interview with Soompi.com.
Topics covered: K-Town Cowboys, the criticism of K-Town Cowboys, Asian roles in Hollywood, the new Koreatown reality show, traditional comedians vs. YouTube comedians, gives advice to budding young comedians, talks about the biggest mistakes beginners make when they first start out.

man that comedian doesn't make ANY eye contact with the interviewer.

The youtube celebs are messing around but youtube has made their stuff a profitable entertainment product and the online media market is only going to get bigger and bigger when the 13 year old kids get older and become money making adults. And teen asian kids that make Kevjumba famous also make up the bulk of Danny Cho's fanbase.

Videos of babies and cats playing get 10 million hits on youtube. no one takes kev jumba or justkidding seriously, even as comedy. I'm not too familiar with Danny Cho but I've seen your stuff Andrew and it's pretty good. Keep your head up. As for Margret Cho, she's mainly been a trailblazer as far as Asian/Korean performers as the model of selling out in Hollywood and not even making it despite that... just an outsiders POV take it for what it's worth.
