Well, here I go editing this one again. This time, I'm replacing the Impossibles clip, because I shocked my family by the fact that I *DIDN'T* use the replacement clip the first time. Holy Mesopotamia!

The Ludwig Von Drake clip has also been slightly extended.

  • My father and Paul were friends, I believe he did more voices than the video shows.

  • @severedarterie This is true, but you can only fit so much in a 2-3 minute video clip. I just chose my favorites.

  • don't forget that on-target voicing of The Thing in the 1960's Fantastic Four series. He sounded the exact way we all imagined Ben Grimm would sound like!

  • @diddymuck I have never read Fantastic Four comics, so I wouldn't know. I never really got into the Fantastic Four cartoon, either. Please try to understand that.

  • Great compilation; but there was one voice he did that was omitted.....the Meister-Berger from "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town."

  • @Retrofan it sounded too close to Boris in my opinion.

  • You'd think Paul Frees' son would follow in his dad's footsteps, no? Guess what he's doing: motivational recordings like "Building Success Thru Living." BUT HOLD ON!!! That particular piece includes advice such as, "You're in control of what you control. In other words, you'll never be James Bond." And, "You think of others before you think of yourself, and you think of yourself before 3 p.m." Hysterical stuff! Check out and buy Fred Frees' "Building Success" at iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby.com.

  • @severedarterie You're right because I noted that he did voice work at Rankin/Bass (mostly on Christmas speicals such as Santa Claus Is Coming To Town and Frosty The Snowman) and believe it or not, he briefly did voiceovers at Filmation (albeit uncredited) on the first episodes for Green Lantern and Hawkman. He was a great talent and is truly missed.

  • boston takes washington seven to two

  • @DreamDancer82 hey i likke boris hes my favorite

  • 1980 Incirlik Turkey, my roomie and fellow armed forces radio jock, Paul Bonell, was a friend of Frees. I got to hear some of the taped letters he sent to Paul B. What a great voice and true wit. He is missed.

  • in almost every movie from the 60s and 70s, frees did dialogue loops for characters who either flubbed lines or didnt sound right

    the man was everywhere

  • Paul Frees was also the narrator of extinct attraction Adventure thru Inner Space at Disneyland.

  • He was also the narrator of Hardware Wars:)
