Then you don't know much about deaf people. There are hundred thousands of them on Earth. With a limited hearing, we are still able to do everything hearing people can do, just as good or better. By the way, i'm not entirely deaf. I'm hard of hearing. That is somewhere between being deaf and actual hearing.
