Christian spiritual paintings by Verdieh Davoodzadeh, an Assyrian woman who picked up the brushes at age sixty. She is a devout Christian and wishes to share her God given talent with the world. She has never taken an art class but through the grace of the holy spirit, she has produced hundreds of beautiful spiritual and religious paintings. It all started when Verdieh would pray to the virgin Mary with colorful candles burning and dripping their wax over a piece of tissue. After her prayers finished, she would look at the tissue and see the face of the virgin Mary and baby Jesus visible in the colored wax. Then she would start to define the lines and forms and create her spiritual paintings. Verdieh has donated hundreds of her work to her community Catholic church and exhibited in Los Angles galleries and sold many of her unique art. This is her first video of her work sharing them with the world. Her intentions are to bring peace, love and faith to people's heart around the globe. The beautiful and relaxing music on this video is by Dennis Quinn with his permission.

  • I love my God <3

  • Jesus: Bless all the women of the world. Bless all the mothers and their children. Protect their children of predators, protect them of violence, protect them of pornography, protect them of this century, and protect all women of faith. Lord and God, for the sake of your name, you will keep your promises. I thank you. Amen.

  • i like tis vdeo..amzing arts..

  • Respond to this video... correct me if im wrong on why africans only paint black people.. i just hypothesized why with no research. Hope your work enlightens many out there it is quite joyful and positive in its nature. God bless.

  • @nicksum29 i feel that man. just wondering why. I personally try to mix everybody in living in toronto known as the most multicultural city in the world. I feel that when white men painted jesus and the nagels white and it really degraded black poeple, when black people had their chance of doing religious paintings they took advantage to paint everyone black out of their anger which i definitely do not blame them. I relle like the way you handled it cuase children and grownups can relate to this

  • @KidEMSTRO Come to a church in Africa - paintings in churches are only of black people. Spiritual awareness is beyond race. You shouldn't think in racial terms.

  • beautifuly done, as an artist mymself i can really feel the message. it has a message in many levels. but my quesitonis.. why is it only white people? The message im getting from all you paitings is unity and love under christ.. where alre the other cultures?
