this is what happens when we live in a dictatorship - minority rule dictates policy over the majority that didn't vote for them - & this is how we betray those that survived WW2. if we don't do something NOW [forget "occupy"] it is going to get a hell of a lot worse. the destruction of the "material" class is just the start - £17billion more to the imf & destruction of the health service? you ain't seen nothing yet... Sounds like this trend of governments is world wide. UK understands that this is not just happening in one country. But here, in the US, a lot of us seem to think it's only happening here, and it's the worst thing ever. It is, but it's happening all over. This world is in the shitter.

a lot of elderly patients have to stay in hospital even when they are medically fit for discharge-the reason being is that there is not a sufficient "package of care" that the government needs to provide. They most often are desperate to return to their home but because of insufficient care are forced to sell their house and live in a nursing home. I know so many elderly patients that are forced to move out of their homes -all because the government refuses to provide the care they need deserve.

The young talking about the old people of today will become the old people of the future. The they will realise when they hear the future young people talking about them moaning. That's if they are lucky enough to become the age of the people they are talking about moaning.

We need people like you mark , i am fighting three councillors trying to kick an elderly man from his council flat because they are worried he will contribute for them loosing their seat in 2014 , complained to Labour party no one care , complained to Tory Mp for isleworth nothing happend and the police don't car either

great vid - People these days want to know whats in it for them, profit motives etc. perhaps we should make it our duty to help the elderly afterall thats one thing we are all certain of being. if we spent time with ELDERS like most other civilisations (not in the 'civilised' world) we would maybe learn something worthwhile get some tips on how we could live properley and take that as our payment and in return give something back - but thats just the point for most init - time is money -sad :(

The problem (and I speak from experience as I have a young nephew who is barely 18 who has a keen interest in politics, and who thinks the sun shines out of every politician's ass) is that the young know nothing. They lack the real world experience that someone 10 years senior has. So they don't really understand or even care. I mean why should they, they're enjoying their youth. I had the same mind set when I was their age. But now in my 30s, I'm not particularly liking what lies ahead of me.
