Dave Matthews performs an early version of Say Goodbye called Any-Noise/Anti-Noise. Any-Noise became the outro/climax of Say Goodbye.

Audio only.

Update 5/7/10:

This Dave Matthews performance is from 8/10/93.

If you don't believe the validity of the track please see:

drive In drive out, Let you down, Lie in our graves, proudest monkey, Say goodbye, So much to Say, too much, Tripping Billies, Two Step.....MAYBE the best album theyve done and i think that this version of goodbye is sweet indeed

  • I think the songs that were the mold for other songs are often better then the songs they became. Love it!

  • @TheWorldwide09 ur wrong this def is him its just old

  • @TheWorldwide09 That is Dave very young, that's why he sounds different. Listen to the Early version of Satellite, "After Her". You will hear it.

  • @TheWorldwide09 The "Dude" Speaking at the beginning is the person introducing him. That is Dave very young, that's why he sounds different. Listen to the Early version of Satellite, "After Her". You will hear it.

  • @TwoStepin4Life The Stone, so hauntingly beautiful.........

  • 1000% Dave in this song

  • I agree 100%!

  • Thanks Jay...enjoying your collection of DMB clips.

  • This is defiantly not Dave Matthews playing. This may be a Dave Matthews song, but it is defiantly not Dave Matthews. This is some dude who is trying to sound like Dave, and its pretty close at some parts, but defiantly no cigar. Either an audience applause track was added at the end, or this was a cover performed by someone in front of an audience. Hmmmmm....... no wonder its audio only. Dude's speaking voice is so off in the beginning and end, as compared to Dave, its laughable.

  • very true...whatever,,,
