GTX480 FSX : Test Landing in the Swiss a320.
Still testing my new rig. No Walk and follow or FSRecorder used.
And indeed, a little high on final approach as it seems.

  • For this video, are you using two GTX 480, at the same time??? Thanks!

  • @santilopezsami fsx only uses one graphic card. I could record fsx via the second one.

    Cheers, dom

  • Beautiful! The runway looks narrow. One day, I hope to get REX.

  • Nice graphics but the audio timing was terrible. Nice try I guess.

  • what a320 addon were you using?

  • Nice videos! I see you put alot of effort into your videos. I have a question however. Is GTX480 the same as NVIDIA GeForce GT 480m. And do you know if graphic memory helps like how is 2 gb graphic memory better and worth the money more than 1gb for example.

  • I got the REX but not graphick like yours my all is "Ultra High"

  • ooh he said retard :)

  • Dom,

I currently have an i7 950 rig running Windows 7, with 12 GB DDR3, but a single, lowly ATI Radeon 5700...My frame rates are TERRIBLE. I'm investigating performance of similar high-end rigs before I decide. Contrary to what another commenter has said, I've heard FSX runs FAR better when NOT using the ATI cards. My current choice is between 2X-SLI with GTX460s or one single GTX480.

What frame rates do you get if everything is set at max, with a complex city landing (e.g. KJFK) ?

  • Looks nice, what is better: ATI or Nvidia? for FSX
