04/17/10 Chemo Port Removed... Yay!

I had my chemo port removed yesterday, it was in for about 3 years. I have been going in to the Cancer Center every 6 weeks to have it serviced (flushed). Now I will be scheduled to hit the Cancer Center every 6 months for a check-up, and the Endoscopy center and PET Scan also every 6 months.
I've been in remission for 2 1/2 years since my PET Scan of Oct '07.

that is awesome, and im sure just having it gone boosts your whole system! I really makes me sound like a baby when i think of wait times for me. Yours are really hard to get thru, schedule wise! Good to see ya Ken, in that great light, with the birds and HD! Yes i saw the golfcart at 8:25!!

@cooksterz Yeah, I saw the golf cart, and heard the train when I looked at the video after upload. Thanks Cookie, at least the hospital visits will be less frequent now. I expect to go the the cancer center once every 6 months now, and the endoscopy center every 6 mo. also. That will be much better.
