A Supreme Master of Rhythm(& my Homeboy from Savannah, GA..................I have many great memories of Mr. Riley live on stage at our local jazz festival-He always brought with him 'gifts' in the form of some serious giants of the music............like Cedar Walton, Buster Williams, Gary Bartz, Kenny Barron, Randy Weston, Mulgrew Miller, etc............one of my favorite sets were the pianoless groups he led-like the quartet featuring Steve Nelson on vibes & the late Ted Dunbar on guitar

I remember Ben Riley in 2005 in a Paris Concert with Kenny Barron, it was a spiritual experience, my best concert ever, thank you so much Mr Riley!
