The MiG-29M OVT (Fulcrum F) highly maneuverable air superiority fighter was shown for the first time in August 2005 during the MAKS Air Show outside Moscow. The single-seat fighter, also marketed for export as the MiG-35, is powered by RD-33 OVT thrust vectoring control engines. The RD-33 OVT engines provide superior maneuverability capability to the aircraft enhancing its performance in close air-to-air engagements. The unique performance characteristics of this aircraft are based on RD-33 OVT thrust vectoring control engines. The MiG-35 enters into the new unified family of warplanes along with the MiG-29K/MiG-29KUB multipurpose front fighters. The elements in common for all fighters of the family are the design of the air frame, the power-plant, avionics and an adjustable vector of draft. Fighters of the family are executed in single and double variants, a degree of unification between which on a design and arms comes nearer to 100%.

I don't like all the military spending around the world. The world spends almost 1200 billion ( 1.2 trillion ) on the military, this can better be spend on social programs. Anyway, I just like aviation.

  • Does SF=San Francisco? If it does, now what you're saying almost makes sense to me. >:D

  • archaic...technically it's a time period of ancient Greece approx. 300,000 to 30,000 B.C.; also (in my case) used in slang to discribe something that is very old, outdated, etc...

  • thank you DBF, it's appreciated.

    J

  • what does " archaic " mean ??

  • so... calling me archaic? lol

  • hey J,

i want to commend you and your family on their accomplishments and different viewpoints. take care-DBF

  • Way more expensive of today. The CFI, CFII, MEI combined are combined $ 13,000 ! PPL is $ 11,000 ! IR is 8,000 ! Commercial is 5,000 ! ME is 7,000 ! Together minimum $ 44,000 ! Michelle did in in this century after 2000, or last year 90's.

  • $40k for flight training... this will make her sick:

it was $40k for all my ratings CFI-II MEI, plus BS degree. That was early to mid 90's though.

  • I have seen the Blue Angels several times during the Fleet Week here in SF. My brother was F 16C pilot for the USAF, now Captain with an airliner, my sister Michelle has all her civilian licenses, and I'm getting my private.

  • thats cool that you have and interest in planes. have you ever checked out the Blue Angels???? it was a pity when our festival could no longer have them back in town. they are missed here still after about 3 years. great video----thanks for sharing
