great video. really helped me grasp it. but how would you draw the dot structure for an element such as tin, which has an atomic number of 50?

@mtn2park You wouldn't be drawing such an atom as an electron dot diagram. If so, you would need to draw only the valence electrons, which can range from typically 1-8 valence electrons.

dude thank you so much! i have watched all of these videos including the naming polyatomics and such. i have my final tomoroow and i just don't get it because my teacher is horrible. however your explanations have helped me so much and i know i will do amazing on my final tomorrow!!!!!!! thank you so much!!!!!!
