Platoon 2027 was comprised of 81 marine recruits from mostly the Connecticut and NYC metropolitan area. 77 of these 81 marines served in Vietnam and not a single one of them or their Drill Instructors died there. Two Marines earned the Silver Star and several were awarded Purple Hearts. Here is the trailer for the video that was released on July 17, 2006 to platoon members and their Marine Corps family.

thats great!....so many years later to reunite...thats what the corps is all about...u dont see this in any of the other branches...semper fi!...my 10 year reunion is next year
