Just minutes after making a pledge to not tax those making less than $250,000, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs says taxing the health care of all Americans was on the table for reform. As candidate Obama spent millions convincing the American people on during the campaign, that would be a tax increase on all Americans.
"Everything is on the table for people to bring their ideas to discuss.
The president has talked about you all covering the campaign (inaudible) healthcare plan.
That's the idea the president had."
Now what the hell does that mean?
Did Obama just throw the press a bone?
"you all covering the healthcare plan"?
(Just stop asking the 'hard' questions)?

the WH has illustrated, quite well, that it feels the press should know when to stop proding.
Do you people in the press get a reprimanding after hours?
How come no one said 'yes, please have it read back. I didn't quite get it'?
When they don't answer to you anymore it's a sure bet you've out-stayed your welcome and must be destroyed.
So what will the press do now?
Stop asking the hard questions?
Or lay low until you get brave enough again?
